Henry Cavill was prepared to play a computer-generated Superman before the movie “The Flash” disappointed its audience.

The final episode of the series “1883” on Paramount+ made it to the top 10 most-watched cable shows last week.

This is unusual because prime-time news shows on Fox News and MSNBC usually dominate cable TV ratings.

This is the latest success for a show from the Yellowstone universe.

The 90-minute finale of “1883”, starring Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Sam Elliott, and Isabel May, was watched by 2.4 million people.

This made it the tenth most-watched cable show last week, even beating two NFL Network preseason football games.

The top ten cable shows mostly consisted of news and opinion programs.

“The Five” on Fox News attracted between 2.75 million and 2.9 million viewers, while “The Rachel Maddow Show” on MSNBC ranked fifth with 2.7 million viewers.

“Yellowstone”, a scripted cable series now in its fifth and final season, has continued to be successful.
